Here are reviews from some of my customers:

'I had played close to 30 years of adult softball and had accumulated several team jerseys and championship t-shirts during that time.  Recently, I decided to retire from softball, but I wondered what to do with all of the shirts, which had just piled up (mostly unworn) in my closet.    The first thing that came to mind was turning them into a quilt or blanket of some sort.  Looking online, I found a few options, but they were little more than a mail-in place, where you send them the material, and after so many weeks, they send it back to you, strung together into something that may resemble a cheap blanket or sheet.   I wanted something more substantive than that, given the time I spent playing and collecting all of those "cotton trophies."   I decided to look locally and found what appeared to be an obvious place called "Not Your Mama's Quilt Store"; however, it turned out to be a quilt design, teaching, and selling place, rather than a quilt-making store.  "We don't make quilts", they said, "But we do know people who do." They gave me 3 recommendations, with the caveat that their first recommendation is their best, but they would also give me two more just because their first recommendation is so good, she may not be available to meet your time frame.  They further stated that the other two recommendations are good quilt makers too, but basically, if you want "A QUILT", then go with our first choice.

I was intrigued, and I didn't really have a timeline for when this quilt needed to be done.  I just wanted it to be unique.   That first recommendation was LuGay Chiang of "LuGay Quilt Designs." Whatever I imagined that quilt to be, LuGay made it a reality.    She is very thorough and communicative with the process and leaves nothing to question.  As a side benefit, she was even able to finish it well in advance of the initial deadline/time frame.

When you get your quilt done by her, it's what you always wanted,  Incredible!'

LuGay is an amazing long arm quilter! I just got my first quilt back and she did an amazing job. Initially, we picked the design together and when I had second thoughts and changed the design she was super accommodating and used the pattern I had asked for. We also chose the thread color family together (grey) but ultimately I let her choose the final color and she picked the perfect color. I highly recommend LuGay for long arm E2E quilting.

LuGay is an amazing long arm quilter! I just received my second quilt back from her, and it really looks splendid! My first quilt was all custom done, and her work is so beautiful with many wonderful details. She has given me so many great tips on rulers and finishing details for completing my quilts!  I love working with her!  Many thanks LuGay!

My son passed away on November 18th, 2020  and I wanted to have a memory quilt made out of his T-shirts and blue jeans for his nine year old daughter and his sixteen year old son.  I found out about LuGay through the Quilters Guild of Plano,Tx.  As you can imagine this was very emotional for me and LuGay was so kind and thoughtful.  She sat with me so patiently and took all my thoughts on what I wanted to put on the quilt, like his sayings he use to say to my granddaughter.  I left the design up to her, and she did not disappoint me!  It’s beautiful, and she embroidered all of his sayings on the quilt as well, like when she would come in the door he would say, Hello Beautiful!  I felt she put love and thought into this quilt which meant so much to me.  I cannot say enough about the quality of her work, it is impeccable!  Now I can’t wait for her to make my grandson’s quilt!  I highly recommend LuGay to anyone, she does fabulous work!

I had a quilt top that my mom had completed about 40 years ago, and LuGay did an amazing job of choosing a backing and design for the quilt and finishing it up for me for a very reasonable rate. Not only that, she is a dear person to talk to and work with.

LuGay helped me finish a quilt of my grandmother’s (who passed away before she could finish it). It means the world to me & my family. She did such a beautiful job, and took time and care to make sure it was everything I wanted. I can’t speak enough kind words! Thank you LuGay, I will always cherish this quilt and so will my family for years to come!
